Education

Omashram Trust also supports the education of the Tribal Children in Coonoor, Ooty, Tamilnadu. Actively involved with the children, the Trust gives away Academic Excellence Awards annually to encourage the literacy of the tribals. The education of the children of the working staff at the Homes are also supported by the Trust, owing to the fact that they are all destitute women from poor families in villages.
