Omashram is a charitable trust formed with the
main objective of providing succor and care for the old. With this
objective in mind, the trust has established an old age home that
provides comfortable, clean and hygienic boarding and lodging facilities
with nursing and medical care. It’s an experiment in community
living where every member is made to feel at home without the impersonal
atmosphere of an old age home.
The premises of the old age home are located at Arakere Village
on Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore in a quiet, peaceful and serene
surroundings.
ADMISSION
Senior citizens - Both male and female above the age of 60 years
are admitted as residents of the old age home on short term and
long term basis.
Long Term Duration of Stay: Minimum 6 months.
Monthly charges will depend on the physical & mental condition
of the residents and are payable in advance every month.
This is inclusive of full boarding and lodging facility, personal
laundry, nursing, library and common room facilities like TV, indoor
games, etc. Yoga classes will be held for the benefit of the residents.
Residents who are immobile/bedridden needing constant attention
and O.W,C are required to pay additional amount depending upon the
residents condition. Cost of medical examination, tests, etc. and
medicines is not included in the charges. (Only the medical check-up
at the time of admission will not be charged).
